Brad McAfee
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER & FOUNDER

Brad McAfee is an award winning Executive Producer and Television Development Executive. In 2003 Brad joined forces with Insight Film Studios Ltd. as Director of Development when the company´s annual revenue was less than $7M. In 2007 Insight's production slate surpassed $160M and included dozens of MOW´s feature films, multiple series and factual programs. In 2007 and 2008 Insight was Canada´s largest independent production company and the country's largest producer of High Definition content.

During his years in development and as Executive Producer with Insight, Brad created and produced multiple factual, lifestyle and reality programs. He is experienced in all facets of television production including development, financing and distribution. Brad has forged solid relationships with broadcasters and distributors in Canada and abroad.

In recent years, Brad created and executive produced the 52 x 30 minute High Definition hit series Vanity Insanity for Global Television Network and the High Definition series Keeping it Real for Canada's W Network. Vanity Insanity was nominated for Best Lifestyle Series by the CFTPA and has sold in more than 20 countries worldwide, with distribution revenues in excess of $1M.

In 2007 Brad created and executive produced three High Definition lifestyle / information pilots for Canadian Broadcasters; Beauty Detectives, Shop Like a Man and The Straight Goods.

Brad is currently the Associate Producer on The Two Corey´s starring Corey Feldman and Corey Haim for A&E and Global Television Network. He is also the Associate Producer of the movie Deadly Skies & Force of Impact produced for Regent Entertainment and CHUM Television, starring Antonio Sabato Jr., Rae Dawn Chong and Michael Moriarty, as well as the Movie of the Week Brotherhood IV. In 1999, Brad produced and directed U&ME On-Line, an information series about the Internet for Shaw Cable. He is also the creator and Executive Producer of the cheeky series Club Mingle, licensed in February 2002 by CHUM Television. In August 2003, Brad executive produced the lifestyle series pilot Men´s Room.

Brad enjoys presenting courses and seminars on pitching and the business side of film and television at various industry related events including the Vancouver Film Festival and for students and faculty at UBC, The Art Institute of Vancouver, Columbia Academy and BCIT. In addition to his experience in television, Brad has held senior sales management positions with Shaw Cable Systems, Intrinsyc Software, NorthwesTel and GE Capital. A passionate volunteer, Brad created and chaired the inaugural black tie fundraising event "The Gift of Time" for Canuck Place Children´s Hospice in Vancouver. The event has raised more than $2M to date and has become one of Vancouver´s most prestigious annual fundraising galas.
